Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, I went to college in Virginia before beginning an exciting series of life-situations that carried me through bar-tending in Montana, DJ-ing in Germany, tour guiding (and diong a masters in history and religious studies) in Edinburgh, and completing a doctorate in religious studies at Oxford before moving to Austin. I´m in my second year teaching at St. Edward´s in the department of religious studies (contingent faculty), and just recently celebrated the release of my first book, C.S. Peirce and the Nested Continua Model of Religious Interpretation.
