A native of the Pacific Northwest, and Appalachian transplant, I came to Austin in 2013 to start a PhD in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies studying the languages and religions of the ancient Near East, especially those of ancient Israel and Mesopotamia. I'm a life-long computer nerd, self taught web developer and designer; aspiring polymath and digital humanist.
