I started out in art history, with a BA and MA, then I went worked as an administrator for an opera company, then I went back to school to become certfied to teach history and geography,taught U.S. History middle school for 4 years, then I became MCC's college archivist 6 years ago.
I have research interests in several areas of history, I'm writing a historical fiction novel, and I was editor of a local genealogical society publication for two years.
